Explore Uganda
It may be a small country with a rough history, but its beauty is vast and there is something to explore in every corner of it. You won't find yourself short of discovery, you'll find yourself short of time.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
It's hard to talk about a visit to Uganda with Bwindi coming up. Located on the southern border, one of the richest ecosystems in Africa known as Bwindi Impenetrable Forest houses the mountainback gorillas. With the right permit and guide you can hike into their habitat and commune with these epic creatures face to face. (You can enter through Rwanda, but for a lot more cash.)

Jinja
Ever wondered where the Nile river begins? That would be in Jinja. It's home to the only full day Nile river rafting in the world, just a few miles away from where it all begins. Even if you're not up for a rafting challenge, Jinja doesn't disappoint with great food, art, views, culture, and even some other nature adventures like horseback riding and chimpanzee trekking.
Kampala
Uganda's capital city has almost anything you want tucked in corners of this bustling city. The city is often a respite for expats living in more remote areas, as a great place to watch a movie, find some A/C, and even some sushi! It's an exciting place to explore, and you'll certainly have a hard time being bored here.

As with any large city, Kampala comes with a few extra tourist warnings that you don't face in other parts to the country: don't have your phone out where its easy to snatch and don't wear an easy to grab bag in the streets.
